Optimizing Your Pinterest Pins

Optimize your pin and create 150-300 word description. Descriptions give more information about what the pin is. An optimal description length affect the audience you are trying to reach and the type of content you are trying to promote. Using a large number of searchable keywords will help to cover all of the short, long, specific and broad keywords you need. It helps ensures that your pin is placed in the right category. A link to directed somewhere useful in the descriptions would help the readers to take an action easily.

  • Number of followers or following you have in your account
  • Number of pins you have

To get a basic idea of your follower’s interests and frequency of activity on Pinterest, browse the profile of the users. Most importantly you will get the idea of what other types of content they are pinning by visiting their profiles. It’s simple that you will get more followers on Pinterest if you follow other people. Following 20-30 people a day can make a huge difference compared to waiting for people to follow you. You can also mention influencers or followers to a relevant pin or comment, which will help to build a good relationship with them.

  1. Account setting
  2. Social networks section
  3. Connect your Twitter, Facebook and Google+ accounts

Note: for Facebook, A page cannot be connected, you can only connect with a personal account. So if you want to connect your Facebook business page, then you can’t connect the page link there.
